About Colorado Fire Restrictions
This site was created to help agencies and the public
track the current status of fire restrictions in Colorado. It is
maintained by a small group of volunteers who depend upon receiving
reports and updates from jurisdictions across the state.
The Colorado Division of Emergency
Management formerly maintained a fire restriction page
here, however as of March 23, 2009, CDEM is no longer able to maintain
the listings. This site is intended to provide the same information
previously available through CDEM.
Local officials can send their updates to
cofireban@gmail.com. There is no cost associated with listing
your current fire restriction status. Suggestions are also welcome at the same
address.
Due to the nature of the information presented here, and
limited volunteer time, we regret we are not able to answer individual
questions about current restrictions. Where possible, we have listed
contact information for specific agencies that may be able to answer
such questions.
